Awesome ownership. Convenient. Courteous.

Quiet place right off of the interstate. Right next to a gas station and 2 minutes from McDonald’s and the grocery store. The owner is honestly a very good person. He likes to rent in person and have you see the rooms before you rent. Two reasons, this is not a normal motel. It has a very homely feel, quiet and respectful. Secondly, he does not like to rent to people who look rough. Call it stereotyping, the other guests appreciate not having fiends smoking dope outside. Sorry not sorry. Do what you choose to do, but respect others. Another amazing thing about this place is what you get for the price. The motel is usually booked but there is often a very nice king suite with a couch available as well as a double queen mattress. I know because I am a long term guests and help when I can. Do not let old reviews fool you. If you need somewhere to stay for a night oreven a week, it doesn't hurt to stop by. During the summer it can get busy so just call ahead and ask can you check out any available rooms. Owner lives on property so no issues a lot of these other motels/hotels have.

Just called to make a reservation for a week so we had a place to stay while House Hunting, management refuses to make reservation and wants to “see what we look like” before we can reserve rental. This is very very odd. Not renting. Even if his price is low.
