4.3 The Heathman is basically the only part of vancouver I like. The city is a disaster, over spill of portland at this point. But the Lodge is very good. I wish I could move this hotel to another city. I travel a lot and this is one of the better hotels i stay at. Very nice staff, helpful and kind. The rooms are always nice. Love the nature sounds in the hallways. The Hudson is a good restaurant and bar as well. I only lowered the rating because of the area. Vancouver is going down hill quickly but they isn't the fault of the Lodge. If you are in need of a hotel in the area this is my number 1 suggestion to others. Great job Heathman Lodge.

🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 The rooms were comfortable, the staff was welcoming, and the location made it easy to explore both Vancouver and the Columbia River Gorge. EV owners will appreciate the on-site charging stations, and dog owners will love that the hotel is pet-friendly. What really stands out is the ambiance. From the moment you walk into the soaring lobby, it feels warm, relaxing, and uniquely Pacific Northwest. The attached restaurant and bar make it easy to unwind after a day of sightseeing, and very friendly staff and inviting atmosphere.

I have been traveling to Portland for work this year more than ever and needed some variety regarding lodging to break up the typical main chain hotel stay. So, I gave Heathman Lodge a try and so glad I did! The staff, food, amenities, and room all exceeded my expectations and I think I have found my go-to spot now. Close enough to Portland but a much calmer/relaxing feel! Get the Rueben Sand-which at the on-site restaurant (the Hudson), enjoy a complimentary coffee/espresso/tea anytime at the front desk, and treat yourself !

I would give this place 5 star BUT we spent 20 minutes at 11:00 pm trying to figure out where the entrance is NO SIGNAGE, NO obvious drive through (it was blocked off). We could find the restaurant but the large entrance was completely grown over with trees and blocked. The free EV chargers worked great and are much appreciated.
