I had a great stay at this hotel! The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, and everything felt spotless. The customer service really stood out—Cameron and Kurt at the front desk were super nice and professional, and it really made a difference. I highly recommend this hotel overall. The only thing that was just 'half-and-half' was the breakfast, but aside from that, everything was fantastic!
Homeless people around , rooms are outdated .
Quality Inn...more like Bad Quality Inn. Don't recommend this place...the moment I walked in the whole building had a strange musty-sweet smell that made me assume mold. The first room we were assigned to had a bed covered in dog hair which 2 members of our group are allergic to, so we had to switch. The second room was only slightly better. The bathroom had 2 lights, one was completely broken and the other was flickering. The lampshades and hairdryer were broken and the AC was extremely loud, there was a balcony but the door and furniture were quite filthy. The carpet was a messy looking maroon pattern that likely hadn't been cleaned in a while, the towels were stained, and there was an air of general uncleanliness that just wasn't comfortable. The room also had an even thicker mold smell than downstairs and it made me nauseous. I sat on the balcony trying to get some work done but during the 5 or so minutes I was there 2 homeless guys passed through the parking lot below, loudly banging things around and talking so I couldn't exactly stay. We were assigned a non-smoking a room right next to the staircase door which was rendered useless because a smoking spot was located right under the stairwell and someone was smoking and filling the hall with the stench. The doors were also paper thin and we could hear a woman cursing someone out inside her room from the hallway. Finally, the advertised pool and hot tub were closed. The breakfast was genuinely horrific with practically raw potatoes, unseasoned rubbery eggs that tasted like they'd been left out several days, and grocery store sandwich bread. There were also waffles (nothing special) and coffee (really watered down). Literally nothing like the photos. You also have to give your room number and name to get food...as if anyone's willingly sneaking in to get a meal from here. The location was not great--it was in a convenient area for stores and the highway was nearby, but the area was also very sketchy. It took me ten minutes to find a safe path (mostly through empty parking lots) to the Trader Joe's a block away. Props to the front desk receptionist (white guy with brown hair and glasses) for dealing with our room switch and other issues kindly and efficiently. Overall, though, don't stay here. It isn't worth the "deal".
This was a very positive experience for what it was. A good, safe feeling, clean inexpensive hotel.
