Halsted Market Days — vor Ort als Market Days bekannt — ist das wichtigste Sommer-Straßenfest des Chicagoer Viertels Boystown, jährlich im August. Das Festival erstreckt sich entlang der Halsted Street zwischen Belmont und Addison und verwandelt die Straße in ein zweitägiges Open-Air-Event mit mehreren Bühnen, Essens- und Getränkeständen, Merchandise-Verkauf sowie Auftritten aus Pop, Drag, Tanz und Live-Acts. Market Days zieht über zwei Tage rund 75.000 bis 80.000 Menschen an und ist nach der Pride Parade das zweitgrößte LGBTQ+-Event Chicagos. Es läuft seit über 30 Jahren und wird von der Northalsted Business Alliance organisiert. Es ist ein dezidiert community-orientiertes Event: Die Bars entlang der Halsted öffnen ihre Terrassen und betreiben Außenbereiche, das Center on Halsted ist ein Aktivitätsknoten, und die Atmosphäre ist die spezifische Kombination aus Sommerhitze, kaltem Bier und Nachbarschaftsstolz, die es von vergleichbaren Events in anderen US-Städten unterscheidet.
