Fantastic meal. The food was incredible. The staff was super attentive and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We had salt and pepper calamari( unreal how good) , Bulgogi , Chinese broccoli and Singapore noodles and green curry. Everything was top-notch

I have been a regular customer of PingPong and Wang’s and have worked in restaurants so I do not write this lightly: I will never go back. I made a reservation for dinner for 4 for a Friday night. They require a credit card and charge you if you do not show up. Our whole party showed up 5 minutes before the reservation time. But they could not find the reservation in their system. I showed them the confirmation email with the date and time and the host recognized it was legitimate. He seemed stressed and it was getting busier so I offered to put in a to-go order instead. Annoying, but we were willing to be flexible. $160 and 35 minutes later and we had our food and left. Got home only to realize they forgot the biggest entree despite it being on the receipt. I called while our food was getting cold and was put on hold for 5 minutes so I hung up. Finally they called me back 10 minutes later, and I just asked that they refund me for the entree. They refused. Instead they said I had to come back and pick it up. Now I was finally mad. Here I am hosting dinner because they messed up my reservation, and now—instead of refunding me $40—I have to leave my guests at the table and walk the 15 minutes in the rain to get the plate they forgot. When I arrived I explained to the manager how frustrating this was and she refused to do anything to make it whole. They wouldn’t take any responsibility. That was the final straw. I walked home with a now cold entree and by the time I got home the entire dinner was cold and soggy. Spend your money somewhere that actually values its customers. If management wants to make this whole they can reach out. But the $500+ I’ve spent there in the last year is going to better establishments.

This is a super cute, kind of fancy Chinese restaurant, with very friendly, team based service and a pro big menu. Cole with a group of picky eaters and everyone will find something to like. Recommended sharing to try as much as possible. Leftovers are well wrapped. Decent cocktail and wine list (though cocktails are pretty pricey, even factoring in quality spirits used. Example: my Grey Goose Saketini was not a $17 drink in my opinion; the tiki glass, mint and mango garnish on the mango mojito might have been though!) We (3 of us) had tuna tartare, scallion pancakes and lettuce cups to start. All were very flavorful (though I was surprised by the pasty/sticky texture of the chicken). Also had Dan Dan noodles (fine) and an eggplant pork rice dish (tangy and garlicky as advertised). We had some leftovers which unfortunately weren’t all boxed due to a misunderstanding. Staff then offered to send us home with some soup or dessert to compensate which we appreciated but declined. We didn’t have a reservation and it was empty at 5:30p on a z Monday night but by 7p, it was full of happy people. Unisex, clean spacious bathrooms (2) with an interesting cabinet/shrine (?!?!), decent TP, well lit, a bit chilly. Food/service B+ Bathroom: B Overall: B+

If you order chicken chow mein it only comes with crispy noodles, no regular chow mein. If you order pick up, be sure to check your meal is what you want in the store. I called for a refund because this is not what I would expect for a chicken chow mein and they wouldn’t refund me unless I allowed someone from the restaurant to come to my home and take the food back which is so odd. Now spending my evening waiting for a random person to show up to my home so I can get a refund. I get they don’t want to refund people who ate the food and aren’t being honest but I’ve never experienced this kind of service before.

Shoutout to one girl who was an absolute machine. From the moment we walked in, the service was great. There was a wait for tables, so we sat at the bar—and that’s where everything stood out. This girl was doing EVERYTHING: greeting guests, seating people, taking orders, and making drinks. At first I thought she was the hostess, then the bartender, then the manager… at one point I even thought she might be the owner just because of how much she cared about the service. Seriously impressive. I had the Bulgogi and it was amazing—definitely something I’d order again. Drinks were okay, nothing crazy but solid. Also loved the little touch of the chocolate and vanilla-dipped fortune cookies—such a nice detail. Overall, great experience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it.

Food and portion sizes are just ok. There was a thick layer of oil on the eggplant and pork dish, with the pork being overcooked. Service was good. Atmosphere is nice.

Every time I come here I am always impressed with the delicious food and impeccable service!! Highly recommend.
