The Westin Cleveland Downtown

Great views and a decent room. The half shower door is really stupid. Also the shower drain was backed up. Restaurant is nice but quite expensive, It's almost too much for an aging hotel.

This Westin blew me & my fiancé away. The location was phenomenal, staff incredibly friendly, and the rooms were spacious and well maintained. We stayed in the Junior King Suite, and it was beautiful. We also had a few staff highlights worth noting.: We checked in during the audit shift shortly after 11pm and the woman (I unfortunately don’t remember her name) was incredibly friendly. She was personable, knowledgeable, and upheld the brand standards by recognizing my member status and making us feel valued despite not being a high status bonvoy member. Cannot say enough kind things about her and her level of guest service! Security staff all around was kind, professional, and a pleasure to interact with throughout the hotel. In the morning, there were two star staff members. Cam, the bellman, was unwavering in greeting and speaking with guests. He was friendly, funny, and lit up the lobby with his personality and guest-centered enthusiasm. Julien, in the restaurant, went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and handled a busy morning with care, kindness, and professionalism. The food was wonderful, and we greatly appreciated his attentive service! All in all, a phenomenal quick stay, and we not only anticipate returning to this hotel for our next visits to Cleveland- but are looking forward to planning those visits more now knowing this is the level of service we’ll return to.

Great hotel, great location

Not regular Westin standard, be careful, the room just renovated, strong paint smell, I can't breathe, I cancelled my stay right after I walked in the room

The rooms are being renovated, as they should be - which is why they got a 3, but the service is top tier. In comparison with the Hilton down the street, I would say the sheets are better and if you get a room with good AC you'll have a good experience overall. The Hilton's rooms seemed slightly newer but the AC didn't quite cool you off. The service was great. Dedo and his staff deserve 5 stars all day long! He provides great customer service and promotes the breakfast downstairs.

Had a great stay at the Westin Downtown this past weekend for a wedding. Staff was super friendly and engaging. They didn't have any rooms that matched our reservation when we arrived so we were pleasantly upgraded. Room was clean and spacious. Walking distance to plenty of options downtown. Two parking garages connected to the same building the hotel is in.

From the minute Cam, the bellman, greets you, you'll know what sets the Westin apart from its competitors. It's a quick walk to both downtown and the lakeside.

Excellent Stay! The location was great, but more importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly. Everyone we met were exceptional and went out of their way to greet us. Shout out to Cam who helped us with our luggage. I would definitely come back. The one odd thing about the hotel, was the fact there was no cold water. Hot water came out of the cold tap. But having said that, this hotel is a winner.

Positive- manager was extremely nice and helpful. Valet was extremely nice. Beds are comfortable. Negative- Market216 advertises that it opens at 6 AM. The Market216 lady is extremely rude. The front staff can also be rude depending on time of day. Issues with printing checking receipts.
