My parents stayed at this hotel and were required to leave a $100 cash deposit at check-in. No receipt was provided for the deposit. At check-out, they were told the deposit could not be returned because the manager was not available. When my mother inquired about the deposit, the response she received was dismissive and unhelpful, which added to our concern about the situation. I later contacted the hotel and was informed that the refund would be mailed. However, no tracking number, proof of mailing, or any other evidence was provided to confirm that the refund was actually sent. After waiting for several weeks, I followed up multiple times by phone and email without receiving a response. I also contacted Choice Hotels Customer Relations and opened a case. While they were courteous and did open a case, I was informed that they could not verify the deposit in their system and therefore had limited ability to assist with a matter handled directly by the property. At this point, we still have not received the $100 refund, nor have we received any documentation showing that it was mailed. I am sharing this experience so that future guests are aware of the risks of leaving a cash deposit without receiving written documentation and of the difficulties we encountered trying to obtain a refund and follow-up information. I would be happy to update this review if the matter is resolved and the refund is received.

Pool is like green. Can't see the bottom. Chemicals and filtration not up to code. Rooms are really dusty with trash on the floor. Elevator sometimes works. A lot of the building is falling apart. I guess this is why it's only $35.

Viri and Nadia are the best!! We came in to extend no problem all smiles and laughing. Came back later, needed a hairdryer/iron-nonproblem. Had a blast with them. Great customer service!!!

Great place pool is big Viri and Nadia are great.

The saying you get what you pay for very much applies to this place. It was cheap and a decent place to stay in for the night. The bed was comfortable. The place does need much improvements as I had to place a towel on the door to prevent bugs from getting in and the pool needs a good cleaning but again for the price I kinda expected it. The staff lady was kind enough to swap my room from smoking to non smoking as I messed up when booking it. So if you are low on funds and just need a decent place to sleep here ya go.
