What reviewers say

Many visitors praise the helpful and nice staff, with some specifically mentioning Valerie and Señora Albertina for their excellent customer service. However, a significant number of reviews report issues with the hotel's condition, including rooms needing multiple changes due to cleanliness problems, disrepair, and even a collapsed bed.

Please don't stay there. It's a nightmare. The hotel is old and dirty. The staff is unprepared, and there's an extremely rude older woman in the lobby. They changed our room three times. Our bed collapsed, there was no water for showering, the bathtub was extremely rusty and dirty, the towels were dirty, and the sheets and blankets were equally filthy. One of our rooms flooded. There's no manager or supervisor to answer your calls, and my sister, who had a reservation, was told she didn't have one confirmed. We paid for our trip through Despegar.com, and they don't take responsibility either. There's no phone number to call for assistance. We went to a concert, but we wouldn't go back. And on top of that, they charge a $100 deposit that they don't refund. TERRIBLE SERVICE. I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE IT ONE STAR. A TRUE NIGHTMARE.

Avoid this property. It is in a horrible state of disrepair -- the awning looks like it could fall down at any time. The first room we got was full of the previous occupant's trash and there were no linens of any kind. Moved to another room and got linens and a semi-clean room. Towels were non-existent. I believe we got the last three in the motel. Pool was closed because someone let their pet swim in it and clogged the filter over the weekend - wasn't fixed by Wednesday morning. Breakfast closed when food ran out on first day. It wasn't even put out on the second. They also left an overnight clerk alone for a couple of nights on her first two days of work. She didn't know much and the manager wouldn't answer the phone. Choice Hotels shouldn't have one of their brands on this!
