The Pavilion dominates Fire Island Pines’ harbor as the go‑to dance floor for the island’s gay crowd. It sits on the waterfront of the car‑free community, a short walk from the Blue Whale’s Low Tea. The building’s stripped‑down interior lets the music take center stage, and the view of the marina keeps the crowd looking outward as the night deepens. High Tea kicks off in the late afternoon, a seamless segue from the Blue Whale’s earlier session. When the sun dips, resident DJs spin everything from house to classic disco, and the room stays packed until the early hours. From Memorial Day through Labor Day the club runs on weekends: afternoons until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and a slightly earlier shut‑off on Sunday. Most guests arrive by ferry out of Sayville, stepping off the dock and straight into the party.
