Dolphin Key Resort

Thank you, Dolphin Key Resort, for making my 2026 winter truly amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I spent almost every weekend there, and the staff always went above and beyond to accommodate me and my guests. They even accommodated all my vehicles! My room was always clean and well-stocked. The office staff made every stay a smooth and easy process, even when arriving very late at night. The Tiki had delicious food, music and fantastic bartenders. I feel very blessed to have met each and every one of you. A huge thank you to Tammy, Tara, AJ, Brayden, JoJo, and Amber for making my dream of being a snowbird come true 💜

Had a great time

I have been going here for the unique atmosphere and amenities, as a local, for 10 years now and it truly is a hidden gem! I can only hope that they are around for another decade <3

First, it's not a hotel, its a motel! Although the location, pool and tiki bar were great, the rooms (atleast the upper ones) need serious help!! You open the door and are immediately hit with an overwhelming gust of musty odor! There was an inch gap under our door, so needless to say geckos could wander in. There were two cracks in our big picture window, which they tried to fix/cover with packing tape. There are no dressers, you get a cubicle. And you don't want to drink the water! It smells like it was pumped straight out of the sewer. If they'd spend some cash on improvements it could be great, but until, I don't think I'd return.

I always enjoy my stay here. The staff is very accommodating with any requests I might have and the rooms are always very clean. As a bonus, the Tiki Hut is right there with great food and drinks.

The tiki hut bar was great. Juliana was an awesome bar tender, she’s very fast and has a great personality.

This was our third stay at Dolphin Key and it appears to not be as nice as it once was. Our reservation was made 6 months in advance and a first floor room was requested. After a flight delay we got to Cape Coral around 9 pm. We got a message telling us how to get the keys for the room in a lock box. Got the keys and they were for a room on the second floor. We called and were told by Mike that he would call someone and ask if there were any rooms available. After waiting 30 minutes in our car we called back and he said he was still waiting to hear back. At that point we were tired and went up to the room on the second floor. The room appeared to be clean. Went looking for the ice machine and it wasn’t where it had been the previous year so got ice from the bar. No ice buckets available so had to use a plastic bag. The drain in the tub was somewhat plugged and so was the sink. Our feet were black after walking around the room barefoot. We love the area and have always had a great time. We still had a great time but was a bit disappointed in the facilities.
