Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Boise West

Rooms feel new and clean. Location is great with plenty of restaurants nearby. Sarah at the front desk is exactly what you want when away from home - friendly, helpful and caring!

I definitely recommend this hotel! It was very modern and clean! The breakfast was very good and they even let me eat after they had closed because I was late! The Night Audit, Jade, is the friendliest person I’ve ever come across in a hotel! 10/10 hire! She was watering the plants in the lobby and I complemented one of the plants and she gave me a giant cutting of it! Even kept it for me until I left so that it didn’t get damaged! The gentleman that worked in the evenings was also very nice and accommodating. He always had a good attitude and was always smiling! • • • My only concern with staying at this hotel is if you run into anything that might require you to interact with the manager, she is very difficult to deal with and even accusatory. During my stay, I requested a late checkout, tipped the housekeeper and then went on my way five minutes before my checkout time. As I was leaving, I kept getting a notification on my card saying that I was being charged $85 from the hotel. This charge happened 3x! I later received a call from the manager Sarita stating that the housekeeper ,that I had tipped, had seen me with a cat and a cat litter box leaving the hotel. Which was completely false as I was there for work. And if I’d had one Sarita would have seen it when I checked in. Not to mention housekeeping, had been in my room multiple times during my stay they would have seen the cat. The other issue I had was prior to my stay. I called ahead to make sure that I could use my employee discount as it was popping up online.When I went to actually hit book, it was removing my discount so I wanted to call and make sure that they were actually offering the discount. The manager, before even trying to hear me out, started spouting out the Marriott employee discount rules. She told me “Unlinke you the agent, I am in every meeting so I know what I’m talking about”. After she said that I knew she didn’t have the answers I was looking for. I refreshed my page and figured it out on my own. She was overall very unpleasant and not hospitable. Other than that his hotel was great! One of the best Marriott stays I’ve had! Even tops the fancy residence inn downtown!

The customer service agent who works overnights is amazing ! Seriously a breath of fresh air ! When your tired , grouchy and just want to lay down , she is the person to make your heart happy again ! Clean rooms , awesome breakfast. Just an all around good experience !

Update: It has been 3 weeks after my stay and still have yet to be responded to. They do not return emails or phone calls. —Highly disappointed. I’m a loyal Marriott Platinum Elite member and recently started staying here instead of the SpringHill Suites because it is slightly more updated and a closer location. I am disgusted and disappointed. My room had blood on the toilet and several areas that were not cleaned. My coworker asked for housekeeping during her weeklong stay and nobody ever came. When I expressed my concern, the front desk person just stared at me and just said “that’s gross” and didn’t ask if anything could be done about it or offer to speak to a manager or have a manager call me. Nobody has reached out or attempted to rectify this issue whatsoever. Truly disgusting and this is a biohazard.

Deeply disappointed in the lack of service. After two days of no house keeping (they do every other day without informing me), I called to ask why and share my disappointment. I was told (at 3pm on day 2), that they would let a supervisor know on Monday… today’s Saturday. The service didn’t reflect the beautiful newer property.

The hotel is new, clean and mostly nice. The front desk staff was always nice and chatty. The gym is very nice and the breakfast was your typical included breakfast. I didn't use the pool. The service, especially from their General Manager falls well below the Marriott standard. I was told I could use gift cards to pay upon checkin/checkout before booking when I called. And then I was told I could use them upon checkout! When attempting to use them when checking out they would not honor them because 24 hours had passed since I booked. Sarita (the GM!)was genuinely annoyed at my request and even said they would have to charge me MORE if I wanted to use the gift cards. I purchased the gift cards specifically for this trip. Please beware if you anticipate using gift cards at this location.

I stay at Marriotts over 80 nights a year and the receptionist has to be one of the worst. No help at all and never even at the desk

The worst hotel I ever stayed in my life. They gave my room to somebody else is dirty not nice. It’s a miserable place to stay please book any other hotel beside this one.
