Kill Your Idol ist eine Dive-Bar am Española Way mit einem gemischten Publikum aus Schwulen und Heteros. Es ist zwar keine reine Gay-Bar, aber das queere Programm ist regelmäßig genug, um sie hier aufzuführen. Jeden Freitag gibt es Drag-Shows, donnerstags Karaoke und mit Gender Blender eine monatliche Queer-Punk- und Drag-Party, die seit 2017 von Karloz Torres veranstaltet wird. Das Dekor ist purer Kitsch: eine Bruce-Lee-Statue, ein Kronleuchter aus Flaschen und ein Flipperautomat. Die DJs spielen eher Indie und Punk, es gibt keinen Eintritt und die Getränke sind für South Beach günstig. Bei Google kommt die Bar bei etwa 850 Bewertungen auf 4,5 Sterne. Wer einen Abend unter Gleichgesinnten verbringen möchte, findet das Twist nur ein paar Blocks weiter südlich an der Washington Avenue.

Had the most amazing cocktails ever. A lil pricy, but a small premium to pay on the amazing vibes and bar tenders. My girlfriend and I had the FILTHIEST martini and it was to die. We also had a few appletinis. There was an awesome rock and roll band. I’ll be back
