Huge carpet mats of sphagnum…but no pitcher plants or sundews I could see. Likely tucked into the deep harder to access regions of the bog
Still being reconstructed but was not walking in deep mud like the last time I went.
Great spot to enjoy with the one you love.
I really miss coming here. I want this place to be protected and cherished as long as possible. Please be respectful to the environment here. There's something so incredibly sacred and spiritual here... Sometimes I used to just hike here for hours. If you need some peace and quiet or spiritual respite, this is the place to go. Thinking about it now makes me want to cry. A very beautiful spirit lives here. Be nice to it!
