Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I thought the hotel was quite nice and the room was clean but with paying $200 for a one night stay it was pretty inconvenient that WiFi wasn’t free and there was no microwave.

Shout out to Miss T and the other staff at this hotel. Although our room could have used some love, the service and staff were outstanding. This is a Historic hotel and should be expected as such. Overall had a fabulous time in Milwaukee and the staff contributed to this significantly. Would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ambassador. We were greeted by Vincent who was so nice and welcoming. Our room was perfect and we had a great view of lake Michigan. This hotel is right by The Rave so it's a perfect place to stay if you're coming to see a concert!

Perfect location if going to the Rave. Private parking garage is a great feature. Bathrooms are a little tight but for a very old/historic hotel it still holds up nicely. Have to pay for breakfast though

I recently stayed at the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee and genuinely had a great experience from the moment I arrived. Connie was the very first person I interacted with, and she immediately set the tone for the entire stay. My plane landed around 9:30am, and since official check-in wasn’t until 4pm, I figured I’d ask if there was any chance a room was available early. I travel a lot, so I’m used to hotels simply holding luggage while you explore the city until check-in time. Fortunately, Connie went above and beyond and was able to accommodate me early, which was incredibly appreciated after an early flight. The hotel itself has a very unique personality and charm. It has an old-school, rustic vibe that really stands out from the typical cookie-cutter hotel experience. From the rotary phones to the vintage atmosphere and classic decor, it feels like stepping back into another era in the best possible way. The entire property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff throughout the stay were consistently friendly and helpful. One of the biggest positives is the location. Brewers Stadium is actually within walking distance, which was perfect for my trip, but the hotel also offers a free shuttle every hour if you’d rather not walk. That convenience alone makes it a great option for baseball fans visiting Milwaukee. My only real complaint was the WiFi. While complimentary WiFi is offered, it was pretty spotty during my stay. They do offer upgraded premium WiFi for $5 a day, which may be worth it if you need reliable internet for work. Otherwise, it’s probably unnecessary, but in this day and age it still feels a little odd to charge extra for stable internet access. Also, there is a $150 incidental fee at check-in, which caught me a bit off guard considering the hotel’s strong 8+ rating and overall laid-back atmosphere. Not a deal breaker, but definitely something travelers should know ahead of time The hotel doesn’t offer free breakfast, but they do have a wonderful breakfast selection available, and the quality was very good. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Ambassador Hotel. If you appreciate character, history, friendly staff, and a unique atmosphere over generic modern hotels, you won’t be disappointed.

An excellent stay each time. Comfy beds, comfortable rooms, fun cocktail lounge, and the room service is excellent service and fare.

I just went to the bar in the lower level it's got stairs nice atmosphere bartenders are fantastic there's tables in there parking maybe a little different you have to find one there are parking lots down there where you can pay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. First of all, thank you to the owners who restored this beautiful landmark. Original Art Deco pieces, everywhere and marble flooring. It has a timeless beauty. All the staff was very polite and accommodating. They have a breakfast café in the building that has delicious omelettes and coffee. There's also a classy looking bar. It is slightly offset from downtown so they offer a free shuttle within 3 miles of the hotel they will take you anywhere and pick you up.!! rooms are large and just the vibe here is great
