1740 House

Just spent a local overnight in our back yard we never visit. What a fun find of an elegant "B&B" on the beautiful Delaware river just a few miles north of New Hope. Great vibe and the part the will surprise you is the food. Breakfast is next level good and the staff super personal. Our room had amazing views of the river. Rooms super clean, all well done. The bar and "living room" with a nice lit fireplace is a cozy nice relaxing area too.

Love it. Can’t wait to get back there.

Great quaint spot! Everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be back! The club/ restaurant was awesome as well!

My sister and I adore the 1740 house and just came back today after spending 3 days there. The rooms are so clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are to die for!!!!! Thank you to Stacey, Kim, Judy, Bobbie, Jasmine for the wonderful hospitality.!!!!!!!

Quite,clean, and close to New Hope. Facility and staff were top notch. I enjoyed playing guitar on balcony in the morning mist. The dining room is very nice.

Stunning place to stay. Our next stay will definitely need to be longer. We could’ve relaxed all day on our balcony watching the river go by it was just beautiful. The guest house itself was A stunning Historical time peace. Our room was gorgeous and of course, spotless. Breakfast was a truly unique gourmet experience. The only thing missing was a phone charging station. Forgot a wall block and had to have my car running for 10 minutes just to charge the phone so don’t forget your wall block.

My wife and I had a small getaway here and it was fantastic. The service was great. The food was great. The views from our room were amazing. The only complaint I had was about the room. The bed was terrible. It was super hard and the frame would squeak really loud if you even looked at the bed. The first night I couldn't fall asleep. That's the only thing I had to "complain" about. Other than that, it was fantastic. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area and need a place to stay.
