No amenities, quiet, unplugged. No tvs in the rooms, take a keurig if you want coffee before or after 9 am.

Stayed for fall gala weekend in November . Was our first trip there . Hotel is quaint and cozy . Not ur place with all the bells and whistles but we weren’t looking for that anyways . Charming , had character . The stay was wonderful as was the gala . Met some lovely people . Attended some lectures and services as well as a seance . Cassadaga is beautiful , a little hidden gem, beautiful grounds . Had a calming peace to the place . Good energy . Will definitely be back

This place gives me a amazing experience everytime I go even if im not looking specifically for the experience the experience finds me most of time, but all jokes aside this place is truly my happy place and have acquired so many relics and advise along the way and the way I am treated is absolutely incredible and the food from the restaurant is amazing

We stayed here previously prior to them remodeling the restaurant. Last night the music was extremely loud. Wasn’t as good as it was on our previous visits. Food was not seasoned. With salt and pepper made it eatable. Ended up in the same room we stayed before. I still don’t like this room. The noise from upstairs makes it difficult to sleep. Turn the air machine on to drown out the noise, and it makes a terrible noise. Mattress worn. Room is clean, odd layout. Shower feels like it’s sinking. Found out after we got here we won’t be able to sit on the veranda due to an event they’re having. Staff is friendly, area is nice. If you’re a “sensitive” individual you will hear and feel the unknown.

Hotel Cassadaga is pure charm. I was surprised with a stay here for my birthday and had an unforgettable time. We checked in, explored the quirky, mystical little town, and had an incredible dinner. The piano player kicked off the night with some live tunes, and then karaoke took over — we had a blast. Slept great, woke up to a peaceful morning, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading out. This place is such a hidden gem.

Came for dinner and a reading. Totally awesome hotel from the 1920’s. Not a lot of parking. Sinatra’s restaurant has good food. Sometimes they have live music with talented musicians. It is supposed to be haunted, I never saw evidence of that but it definitely has a vibe. Cassadaga is an awesome place to visit.

Rooms are old. No central AC, they have wall units. Towels/sheets look worn, 40-50 years old. Sheets towels are all dark colors. All felt damp. Grossed us out bc obviously could not be bleached with those dark colors. No TV in rooms. Felt like an old hidden safe house if you are trying to hide from someone in the middle of nowhere. We made a reservation by phone and wanted to cancel but could not. You must cancel 72 hours in advance FYI. We were on a road trip and were tight on time. We did stop by Cassadaga you only need 1-4 hours to see what there is to offer. Length depending on what you want to do. Overall the hotel/restaurant staff was nice. A little quirky matching the atmosphere the town. Feels more like a tourist trap or taking advantage of vulnerable people hurting for a lost loved one over anything scary or spooky. Restaurant food descent fair prices. Bc we could not cancel our reservation we still went. Went to the shops. Saw the fairy garden. We’d heard of Cassadaga so we’re curious. Nice to see once. Rinsed in the shower bc we had been going to springs during the day. Had dinner and a reading. Again everyone was nice. Reading was vague. We can say we did it. Just wish we could have canceled the hotel reservation bc we didn’t stay. But oh well.

The lady over the phone was extremely helpful when I called. She gave me all info I needed to book the room that was right for me and set up with the psychic in the hotel. As well as events going on in the community. They do not use email confirmations or anything like that. This building inside is beautifully decorated and you get that old timey feel about it. In the room there is a window unit to help keep you cool inside your room that works awesome. I came first of August and it’s super warm around that time so walking up to my room it was refreshing to walk in the room. They provided wash cloths, hand towels and regular towels as well as mini shampoo/conditioner and hand soaps. The bathroom is itty bitty but having a private bathroom is always a plus so no complaints there. Only thing I would have liked would have been a microwave/mini fridge. WiFi in room 27 wasn’t working much at all. Aside from that it is a great way to disconnect from the world and just exist. It does have a restaurant attached. Check-in process is fairly easy. They do accept Visa/Mastercard. Mostly this town likes to use cash it seems but does take cards.

A bit disappointed. I understand the hotel needs to remain with the charm of a historic look, but my room, can only speak for the one i stayed at, needs more attention to detail. Very dusty, broken shades, furniture is dusty. The restaurant doesn’t serve breakfast so you have to leave the premises, yet their prices are expensive, $50 for 2 cokes & 2 Caesar salads. Mattress need to be replaced. Bathtub and walls have black spots on them.

What an amazing place with such great energy and so beautiful. Just when you think you’ve seen the most beautiful thing ever you see something even more spectacular.. truly an exciting place to be.

A great place to have spent our anniversary. Hotel staff was downright amazing! The fact that they told us to call through them instead of online for cheaper reservations was incredibly honest. Also, for those looking for a spooky stay, this place is a must. We have already looked into a second reservation that lines up with resturaunt dinner hours. Cannot wait to stay again!
