Idlewild Park (cruising)

Idlewild Park is a large public park along the Truckee River just west of downtown Reno, best known locally for its gardens, ponds and walking paths. After dark, the wooded western end near the river path has a long-standing reputation as an informal gay cruising spot. It is a public park with normal city hours and foot traffic, so discretion and awareness of surroundings are advised; Nevada has no anti-LGBTQ conduct laws, but public-decency rules still apply.
