Theatre Rhinoceros

A small theater in a repurposed basement in the Castro. Very small venue, that can be amazing to some people, and a bit cramped for others. It felt a bit confined for a minute because I like to "man spread" as it's been called. Other than that, it's a cool spot. Because it's a small location, I think involving the audience as part of the scenery was a great idea. In the show I went to see, Group Therapy, audience members made up the second half of the therapy circle. We weren't asked questions, but their was definitely eye contact with the fourth wall.

Don't waste your time nor money Just a bunch of people who think they can act but can't and want to be famous...like so many others

A truly innovative, intimate, and important company at the heart of San Francisco Queer theater. Still going strong - couldn’t recommend more for a night of excellent theater!

Yep, as advertised.
