Theatre Rhinoceros

Founded in 1977, Theatre Rhinoceros is the longest-running professional queer theatre anywhere, and it is still producing full seasons from its home in the Castro. Expect a mix of queer classics and new work — recent seasons have ranged from Angels in America to brand-new solo shows. Shows typically run several weekends; check the season page before you plan a night around it.
