Yonkers Pride Festival

Yonkers Pride Festival is the city's own LGBTQ+ celebration, held each June along Main Street in downtown Yonkers. Organised by the nonprofit Yonkers Pride together with the Downtown/Waterfront BID and the City of Yonkers Mayor's LGBTQ+ Advisory Board, it features live music, drag performances, community and vendor booths and family-friendly activities, preceded by a Pride flag-raising at City Hall's Unity Fountain. First held in 2017, it reached its ninth edition in June 2026. It is distinct from the county-wide Westchester Pride held in White Plains.
