Rainbow Community Kampuchea (RoCK) organises Phnom Penh's annual LGBTQ+ community celebration — the closest equivalent to a Pride event in Cambodia. Unlike a street parade, the RoCK event is a ticketed evening celebration with drag performances, community speeches, fundraising, and social programming. Held annually, typically in the cooler season from November to February, the event draws Phnom Penh's LGBTQ+ community, international expats, NGO workers, and visiting travellers together in one of the most diverse social spaces in the Cambodian capital. The absence of a formal street parade reflects Cambodia's political context — government permission for public LGBTQ+ demonstrations has not been sought — but the event is publicly acknowledged and has the implicit tolerance of the authorities. RoCK's work on advocacy, HIV/AIDS awareness, and community support is funded in part through the event's proceeds. Check RoCK's Facebook page for confirmed 2026 dates, venue, and tickets.
