Sofia Pride 2026

Sofia Pride, Bulgaria's biggest annual LGBTQ+ event, happens every June. The march itself goes through central Sofia, police-protected, drawing 5,000 to 10,000 people. That includes more and more international visitors and groups from other Balkan countries. It's been going since 2008, and it's changed quite a bit since then, from a small, often-protested gathering to something Sofia expects. Pride week also means film screenings, panel talks, and other community events that happen around the main march.
