The Cyprus LGBTQ+ Film Festival is an annual programme of screenings held in Nicosia each October, showcasing queer cinema from across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. The festival has run for several years under the auspices of Accept-LGBT Cyprus, using cultural spaces in the Old City as screening venues.
The programme typically includes around twenty feature and short films across five days, with a mix of recent festival-circuit titles and curated retrospectives. The regional programming — films from Greece, Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, and other nearby countries — is a particular strength.
The 2026 edition will be held across five evenings in mid-October. Programme details will be announced by Accept-LGBT Cyprus in September 2026. The festival is typically low-cost or free to attend.
