Sitges Carnival — the most theatrical and flamboyant carnival in Spain, drawing over 100,000 visitors to a town of 30,000. The Rua de la Comparses float parade and the Rua de la Disbauxa Debauchery Parade are the centrepieces of an explicitly queer and camp celebration that has made Sitges Carnival one of the essential events in the European LGBTQ+ calendar.
