Sobre este lugar Hotel Ceiba

Hotel Ceiba is a business-class hotel on Avenida Francisco Mendes in central Bissau and one of the larger hotels in the city. It is a mainstream, gay-friendly property, not a gay venue, used mostly by business travellers and NGO staff. Reviews average 4.3 from 774 guests. Expect international-style rooms, a restaurant and a pool. Bissau has no visible gay scene, so the usual discretion applies.

I'm a regular member of the pool community, and the experience leaves much to be desired. Being a 5-star hotel, the level of maintenance of the pool area should be impeccable, but the reality is that the pool is almost always dirty or lacks the deep cleaning that an establishment of this category requires. It's a shame, because the place has potential and the service is usually good, but the condition of the pool water doesn't live up to the star rating or the price you pay for the service. I hope they take note and improve this soon.

Decided to have diner at the hotel’s main restaurant. Spent 14,000 on a burger and local juice and it was sleeping disgusting. The meat of the burger was off, fries were from a frozen pack. I refused to eat it. Very very very bad food despite a good service from the waiters

The hotel is very bad in terms of service. There was no internet all night, every day, and the manager turned it off when he left work. We come to this sister country only for work, so we desperately need internet access.

A beautiful, large, and well-organized hotel... 🔴Unfortunately, the service is terrible. - You hear the noise of construction work while you're sleeping, as if you're in a workshop. There's a short video clip of what you hear while you're asleep. - They don't speak English. - Any request you make takes half an hour, and it arrives incomplete. - The internet is the worst you've ever experienced in a hotel. - I asked for an iron, and they said there wasn't one. - I asked for a plug to use the three-pronged outlet, and they said there wasn't one unless I paid them to buy one. - The windows are dirty, and if you ask to open them, they say it's not possible. The building deserves 5 stars, but unfortunately, the service is only 2 stars. ★★ I will leave this suite today and never return. 🔴 When the person in charge of an establishment is incompetent and doesn't update, improve, or correct mistakes, it's natural for the establishment to decline over time. 🚧
