As a local, I don't really stay at hotels but had the opportunity to stay at le Saint Georges for business purposes. There you will find mostly business people but it is also good for tourists, who would like to explore port louis. It is located walking distance from many landmarks of port louis. The hotel itself is very accommodating, clean, and has friendly staff. Hotel provides breakfast, which is a great plus before a walk in port louis. They have a parking for your rented car, adjacent to the hotel, which you can park during the day, but at night it is advisable to park it right in front of the hotel. Mind you, it is a hotel to explore the city center, it is not located near seaside.
The hotel is well located between the racecourse and the bazaar, and thanks to the tram, it's a plus for getting around on foot. There are quite a few monuments to see nearby. Breakfast is included; however, it's a shame that there was nothing resembling a proper breakfast throughout my stay—just one or two pieces of fruit, some cheese, milk, coffee, and water. The lobby is nice, but the room and bathroom are very outdated. I wouldn't recommend staying more than a day. It could use a makeover. 👍🏽
