Prefect in every way! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, our experience with the cancellation policy has left us very disappointed. We had a 7:30pm booking but I became unwell with influenza and knew we weren’t going to be able to attend. At 11:34am, I tried calling the restaurant to cancel, but unfortunately nobody answered. I immediately cancelled through the online booking system instead. I understand that the restaurant has an 8-hour cancellation policy, and technically our cancellation was four minutes inside that window. However, given that I had attempted to contact the restaurant before cancelling and was unable to get through, I contacted them afterwards to ask whether they would consider waiving the $40 per person fee as a goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, they refused and pointed out that their terms and conditions had been agreed to. I understand that businesses need cancellation policies, but I found the complete lack of discretion in circumstances where we had genuinely tried to contact the restaurant, and were only four minutes inside the cutoff, quite disappointing. We had actually intended to rebook for another occasion, but after this experience we won’t be returning. I have no issue with a restaurant having a clear cancellation policy. What disappointed me was the unwillingness to make any exception in a genuine situation where we had attempted to cancel before the cutoff.

Great vibe! The food was delicious. Super fresh pasta and home made arancini! Staff were helpful and very friendly. Will definitely visit again :)
