Hotel Gateway

Went there to attend a show. Bar staff in sports bar and also in dining room later for the show has no idea what they were doing. People lining up for drinks and 1 person serving while another talking and another wiping glasses. Grumpy staff who looked like they would rather be anywhere else. Food in sports bar was very nice. Large entree portions.

We were amazed at the excellent service provided by the staff at reception in particular Andrew who is also bar staff, who was friendly and his customer service was exceptional! Many thanks to you! Will definitely stay here if I need to come back! Recommend this stay!

Very good food great variety

Went to the BUFFET restaurant. The food was delicious and selection was good. The desserts were to die for with a fantastic selection to choose from.

Great location, food choice great. Staff were friendly and helpful

For what was needed it did the job but very basic. Accomodation was clean enough however the evidence of spider webs and dust in the rooms suggests that deep cleaning is never completed. Food in the buffet was nice enough but almost impossible to get more due to the tight layout. Desert bar was awful with no toppings for the ice cream etc. Very average

Absolute rip-off over priced

Called in for Buffet Lunch

We came in for dinner as a larger group and there was two servers taking payments / seating tables. The younger girl was very polite but the older lady had such an unprofessional attitude. We were respectfully waiting in line for our turn and was yelled at for ‘being in the wrong line’ as we should all be in the same one being a larger group but when she realised there was a few of us she huffed and said ‘come back over here then’. My partner and myself were even met with attitude when getting drinks at the bar over on the pokies side. Maybe some re-evaluation on staff is needed and hiring people who are capable of working hospitality without the attitude.
