Dated and not well sound-proofed. Unless you don’t mind the sound of heavy footsteps above you and next door, maybe look elsewhere. Raised the noise issue with front desk, but they just moved me to another room with equally poor sound proofing (and a phone that didn’t work). The location is good though and it has a washer drier.
Perfect location.
When you factor in the value, I think this deserves 5 star. Spacious room (slightly dated) but well designed, a great shower, quiet, friendly service and well located. Would stay again for sure.
Excellent location and room! I didn't realize this when I booked on Agoda but the room is like a studio apartment with a kitchen and a laundry machine, so that was a pleasant surprise. Only subtracting 1 star because I wish the hotel had better amenities like a gym and pool. Otherwise, great experience and I would definitely come back.
The only thing stopping me from 5 stars is the SUPER QUESTIONABLE aircon arrangements. It turns off when either the balcony or room door is opened and doesn't turn back on when closed again. VERY bad news for your partner still asleep in the room who will get cooked and/or suffocate as the rooms become stuffy incredibly quickly, and there's no fly-wire on the balcony :-( I don't think anyone believes you're doing that for the environment, QT.
Divorced , kids grown up ,single as a pringle. But a socially active male who works from home . I checked into Qt Bondi in November 2011 , did so as a company booking. Loved it , more in a moment , walking through Westfield Bondi Junction only 12 min away by car, I walked into the pet shop just to look , walked out with a mini Dachshund, I called her after my mum who’s been gone a decade 💔 Truelove was my mother’s maiden name and Truelove came to the Qt. They moved me to a big room with a very big balcony. This November I’ll have been at the Qt Bondi for 5 years . Qt don't just rent you a room , they give you a home , staff are like my second family. Over time I was able to put some of my own touches to my room and outside furniture on my balcony . I have meetings here several times a week . The location is second to none in Bondi . You can surf or shop, train or relax qt is situated on the corner of Campbell Parade and Beach Road entrance via 6 Beach Road Driveway . Business you must visit Beachouse Gym , Slow House Day Spa , Earth to Table , Anita , Yo Chi , great steak restaurant, Bondi Public Bar very fair pub-priced meals, music , sports bar , multiple locations for coffee , Woolworths, BWS bottle shop . All this without leaving the building . Girls there are 20 Ladies boutiques from the building back entrance Gould Street to Hall Street. Guys you can carry the bags and pay but Venroy is a 5-minute walk and many more . So 5 years soon what would I leave? Gotta love the QT Bondi ps when in Melbourne i stay in QT melb when on the gold coast i stay in the QT Gold coast
The location is excellent, very close to Bondi Beach, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, the facilities are somewhat outdated, and service details need improvement, such as slow response at the front desk and a lack of essential amenities. Overall, it offers good value for money.
