Shanghai Bund Garden Hotel

Great place

The two-story colonial-style villa has a beautiful veranda, terrace, and courtyard. Last time, I stayed on the side facing the alleyway; opening the window revealed two beautiful cedar trees, and a cool breeze made it very pleasant. The house is generally well-maintained, but the furniture and design are truly disappointing—to put it bluntly, they ruined the house. The service lacked the professionalism of a star-rated hotel, but it wasn't indifferent either; it was more casual and approachable. To be honest, I quite miss it. Leaning against the window, listening to the soft, everyday chatter in the alleyway at dusk, there was a sense of home. However, the thought of the suspiciously colored bed sheets inevitably brings back some unease. The hotel has a great location, quiet and peaceful, with shady trees lining the streets. There are several nice neighborhood shops, an authentic Japanese restaurant, a glamorous nail salon, and a few unique boutiques that stay open late, making for a very relaxing stroll. In short, it's just a little bit lacking, but what in this world is perfect?

I'll never forget those moments because it's such a beautiful place with so many incredible buildings and sights. The walk along the river is wonderful, even though it's very hot, you really enjoy it. The ferry ride is also really cool :)
