Hilton Hotel Tahiti

My husband and I saved to go on our honeymoon here and were looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately we were met with abysmal service all around. At breakfast they are so short staffed that we didn’t get water or coffee served until after we were done eating. We actually got up and tried to make our own coffees to help alleviate the staff and they told us we weren’t allowed to do that. Anytime we went to the bar we assumed there was no table service because it takes them that long to acknowledge you. We went to happy hour 2x and both times were charged full prices for drinks despite the happy hour being advertised. We asked for waters in our room and were told the hotel ran out of water and we’d need to fill our bottles in the filtered water with the ice machine. We went and the water dispenser was disgustingly dirty - neither of us felt comfortable drinking from that so we had to go downstairs to purchase water from the bar. For the price, this hotel is not worth it at all. It’s very expensive to receive such subpar service and poor hospitality.

ll start by saying there aren’t many options for premium service in Tahiti. However, this Hilton was probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at. Something as basic as getting a coffee in the morning would take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. You could sit down at a restaurant or bar and no one would come over to help. We often had to physically get the menus ourselves just to get someone’s attention. To top it all off, we needed drinking water one night and the hotel refused to provide any. We were told we could either get water from the ice room—which was old, rusted, and disgusting—or drink water from the bathroom tap. That was really the icing on the cake. Save yourself the headache and just book the intercontinental or stay anywhere if that is full booked

We stayed at the Hilton Hotel Tahiti with our family and had a really enjoyable experience. The service was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. The staff were always pleasant and professional, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our visit. Our daughters also really enjoyed the atmosphere and the hotel itself. The quality of the service made a real difference and helped make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The only downside for us was the location. It is not the most convenient location if your main goal is to explore Tahiti and move around the island, so this is something to keep in mind when choosing where to stay. That being said, the quality of the service absolutely deserves to be mentioned. The staff were wonderful, attentive and made us feel welcome from beginning to end. Overall, a very pleasant family stay, and a big thank you to the entire team for the great hospitality!

Next to a Carrefour supermarket is a four-star luxury resort hotel in Tahiti, and the poolside overlooking the sea and sky exudes pure luxury.

We were excited to start our Honeymoon here. The staff are lovely, friendly, and kind. Our Premier Ocean View Room was meh. We were woken at 7am by banging and drilling noises. Having gotten in on a delayed flight the night before, this was not great. When we tried to call the front desk to understand the situation, no one picked up, so we decided to leave the room and get started on our day. We passed by the front desk in person later, and they confirmed that there was construction in the room directly next to us. That evening, we had gotten ready for bed and were drifting off to sleep when the room started filling with the strong smell of cigarettes. Our doors and windows were shut, and the AC was running. Even though this was a non-smoking room, it certainly didn’t smell like it. We decided not to ask about switching rooms since we were already settled in for sleep and were thankfully leaving the next day. Other than that, the staff were helpful and scheduled taxis for us. The location was great, located in between the ferry terminal and airport. A sky bridge connects the hotel to the Carrefour shopping complex across the street for convenient access to groceries, pharmacy, and ATM.

We needed to pick our luggage by our own to the rooms - no one helped us ☹️ the rest of the service is Hilton level.

Almost non existent service. Pool bar is slow. Hotel is “old”, we got mold in our room. It is not worth the price.

It's still a Hilton: location, setting, surroundings. However, the dining experience is inconsistent: in the brasserie, hotel standards have been forgotten, and the service is below average. At the Strada, the quality is closer to what one would expect.
