Dragvanti

Dragvanti is a Hyderabad drag-arts collective founded by performance artist Patruni Chidananda Sastry (drag persona Maha Mohini D'vi), one of the first Telugu drag performers. It runs drag workshops, showcases and durational performances, and helped put Hyderabad on the map as a drag city (Hyderabad hosted an early Indian DragCon). Dragvanti events, often staged with Mobbera Foundation, are among the most visible public queer nightlife happenings in the city.
