Hotel & Sauna 24 Kaikan Shinjuku

Been to many Gay Saunas in Europe and SE Asia... I was here yesterday Aug. 15,2026 Saturday at 3pm. The place has 7 floors but only the 4th floor for the sauna and cruising area. 90% of the guests are local and 10% foreigner. Fewer younger clientele majority are older ones. Facility has 2 dry saunas available but the one on the left near the area with the sling smelled really different musty odor. Too bright area for cruising, no dark rooms and no private cabins. The warm jacuzzi was ok. Most fun in the steam room but everyone will touch you indiscriminately. The vibe of the place is different. All in all nothing special. Bit pricey for a small sauna for cruising tbh. I would not recommend for my fellow tourist.

Walked out after 10 minutes, this is literally the worst sauna i have seen by far, disgusting, awful, DEFINITELY would no recommend any one.

I think for experience can try have a look. A tad expensive tho you can stay long. Or you should plan to. It seems the japs prefer white slim guys. Haha. Nothing going on for me.

The staff is arrogant

It's rustic, but quite comfortable and everything is delicious. They accept foreigners and the price is good, I think around 3,000 yen. It has eight floors, but the only really interesting one is the third floor. It's a good experience.

I personally had a fine time but was shocked with total disregard of consent. All night long, creepy guys walk in and out of the sleeping room and try to grab a feel. I told “no” a few times in Japanese. One guy ignored me so I kicked him to get him away. I got no sleep at all. If you want a good rest, book a private room or stay somewhere else. I recommend to come for fun but do not stay.

After reading the reviews, many said the price-performance ratio was so-so. I went to a gay sauna in Japan for the first time with some trepidation, but I thought it was pretty good. While changing, I saw a really muscular guy, but unfortunately he was leaving. Even if he hadn't left, I probably wouldn't have been his type, so I just skipped him. There were quite a few people coming and going, but I can only say there weren't many truly attractive women. The physiques and ages varied, but I did meet someone I clicked with, which was a pretty good experience, haha. There were some muscular guys, but not many.
