We had a wonderful stay at Tokyu Stay Nishi-Shinjuku, and I would like to give special recognition to the two members of staff at reception – a middle-aged gentleman and lady who made a lasting impression on us with their exceptional service. From the moment we approached the reception desk, they were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. As visitors travelling through Japan, we had several questions about our onward journey to Hakone and needed assistance with baggage forwarding. Rather than simply giving us brief instructions, they took the time to carefully explain everything in detail and made sure we fully understood the process. The gentleman was particularly knowledgeable as he is from Odawara, and his local insight was invaluable. He provided us with excellent advice on travelling to Hakone, including helpful tips and recommendations that gave us much more confidence about our journey. It was clear that he genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience during our trip. Both members of staff were incredibly patient, professional, and attentive. They guided us through the baggage forwarding service step by step, answered all of our questions, and ensured that everything was arranged correctly. What stood out most was that they never appeared rushed, despite being busy. Instead, they dedicated their time to helping us and made us feel like valued guests. The level of customer service they provided went far beyond what we expected. Their kindness, local knowledge, and willingness to help removed a great deal of stress from our travel plans and allowed us to focus on enjoying our holiday. Encounters like this are one of the reasons why travelling in Japan is such a pleasure. Please pass on our sincere thanks and appreciation to both of them. They are a credit to Tokyu Stay Nishi-Shinjuku and played a significant part in making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to other travellers.

Really close to 2 FamilyMarts and the Oedo line, quiet area, really good size room, loved the stay and will definitely be back next time!

I had a very comfortable stay. The room had a large TV, and I could watch YouTube. I was able to relax and enjoy my time at the hotel. The room had a microwave and a washer/dryer, which was very convenient. The washer/dryer was especially helpful for extended stays, as I didn't need to bring a lot of clothes. The surrounding area was quiet, and I was able to sleep comfortably at night without being bothered by noise. In terms of location, there are convenience stores like 7-Eleven and FamilyMart nearby, as well as several drugstores, so shopping is not a problem at all. Train access is a little inconvenient; you need to walk a short distance from the nearest station, especially if you're dragging a suitcase. The streets around Nishi-Shinjuku Gochome Station are narrow, making it very difficult to walk at certain times of the day. If you have a large suitcase or a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a bus or taxi from Shinjuku Station.

Tiny tiny TINY rooms. We had to get the table and chair removed just so we could open our suitcases. Meanwhile, the bathroom is huge and there's a lot of wasted space taken up by the microwave, fridge and washing machine. No point in having the. microwave because there's no where to even eat your meal! And although the washing machine is helpful, they'd be better off having a laundromat downstairs. Wasted space! Coffee downstairs is free, but absolutely terrible. Lots of little freebies such as cleansers, moisturisers, toothbrush, hair brush, all very thoughtful travel things. Area is OK, lots of hidden izakayas and eateries around, nice local vibe and close to the park. Nice to be away from the hustle of Shibuya and Shinjuku without being too far from the action. Wouldn't stay here again though
