Victoria Court Hillcrest

Beautiful room unfortunately ruined by shady behavior from the staff. Upon checkin we noticed snacks out on the table and a mini fridge stocked with goods. Our first impression was "this must be extra cost", however we received a call from admin and decided to confirm if they were extra cost to which we were told the lays and chips on the table were complementary but the ones in the fridge were additional cost. Unsure of this I confirmed again 2 more times. "The lays are complementary?" "Yes po" "So only the fridge items are extra?" "Yes po". Upon checkout we were told we had to pay 525 pesos for the chips that we had already confirmed to be free. Extremely frustrating as I had confirmed multiple times very clearly. Absolute scam, ridiculous prices too. We were later told only the water is free (this was never mentioned prior) and the water was in the same fridge as the paid items with no differentation. Very very shady. I would not trust that the water is free either. Additionally just note that the jaccuzie area is unsafe, I slipped and injured my back while walking very carefully as the floor is a slippery surface, and there are no anti slip mats, floor is also on a slight angle so I ended up sliding under the sink. Would have also helped to have two towels as we had booked for two guests too. It's really such a shame, everything else is minor, the room is extremely impressive but the staff lying and scamming us has left a very bad taste in my mouth. We were actually considering booking another 12 hours until this happened, now we won't be giving them more buisness. Hope it was worth the extra 500 pesos.
