I’ve been coming to this restaurant for many years. It has deteriorated dramatically. No surprise it wax almost empty. The food overpriced, They seem to want to try something complex and different for each food item often simple is better. The service non attentive bordering on arrogant. For one of the mains, the most expensive, we were brought the wrong dish. One entree was not what we expected. A real disappointment. I won’t be going back

It was ok but nothing special. Honestly have had tastier Thai food in suburban locations in Australia and Europe. Food was fine but on the bland side. Wine list overpriced.

An invitation to flavor, a surprising cuisine, a true delight where every ingredient finds its balance. The best Thai restaurant in Bangkok. I highly recommend it.

I went to Ruen Urai. Located on the grounds of the Rose Hotel, one block off the main road, it can be a little hard to find if you're visiting for the first time, but that doesn't stop it from becoming a truly hidden gem. This time, I ordered Massaman curry (with lamb), the recommended appetizer, and an iced coffee. The appetizer salad was refreshing and delicious with a strong cilantro flavor, and the deep-fried crab was fragrant and very satisfying. The Massaman curry looks spicy, but in fact it's hardly spicy at all, with a sweet, sauce-like flavor that is easy for Japanese people to enjoy (rice is included). The restaurant has a calm atmosphere and pleasant music, making it a relaxing place to eat. However, the pool right in front of the restaurant allows you to see the guests swimming, which may be a bit of a challenge. Overall, I was very satisfied with both the atmosphere and the food, and I recommend this restaurant for those looking for a quiet meal.
