Had high tea here. What do you say about a restaurant that is THE epitome of style, art and history in a city of over 1 million people. Outshines the Anantara (part of the White Lotus TV SERIES)

Fantastic stay all round. Everything from the rooms to the service to the food was exceptional. A beautifully designed enclave in Chiang Mai. A truly unforgettable experience.

It's a pity we didn't stay overnight this time. However, the dining experience at the restaurant and the live piano accompaniment are highly recommended. It's listed in the 2025 Michelin Guide (with a key). Although the restaurant didn't receive a Michelin star, the food was still exquisite. I really enjoyed the appetizers, bread, soup, and desserts. Unfortunately, the main courses were rather average. The resort itself has beautiful greenery and architecture. I would like to stay here again next time.

This is a small, exquisite French-style fine dining restaurant, a Michelin-recommended establishment. The building itself is a historic structure built in the 1880s, supported by 137 teak pillars. Research indicates it was originally the headquarters of the British East Borneo Company. The dining environment exudes an elegant colonial-era style, with soft lighting enhancing the warm atmosphere. The meal began with a basket of room-temperature bread (perhaps due to the long wait, typical of group tours), featuring a variety of handmade breads paired with smooth foie gras cream—quite good. The appetizers, made with Japanese seaweed, shrimp roe, and Japanese sesame vinegar, were delicious. The subsequent creamy pumpkin soup, served with caviar, crostini bread, and delicate flower petals, was so good I wanted more. Every bite showcased the chef's meticulous handling of the ingredients. The Caesar salad was crisp and refreshing—a pass. Before the main course, a refreshing grapefruit sorbet cleanses the palate, preparing you for the main course. The main course features pan-seared salmon served with vibrant green zucchini and sweet peas, an enticing sight; the roast beef is perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, enhanced by a red wine sauce. The dessert is a feast for both the eyes and the palate: crisp, stringy banana kataifi paired with coconut ice cream and mango sauce, a perfect ending to this exquisite French meal. Finally, a cup of coffee... oh my god, it's so bitter! Even I, who drinks two cups of coffee a day, find it hard to accept. I suggest ordering tea instead.

Heritage, elegance, and thoughtful design throughout. An oasis of botanical gardens, surrounded by artful details at every turn. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, with meticulous attention to detail ensuring true comfort—an outdoor shower that feels especially glorious in the tropical heat. Breakfast is outstanding—in choice, produce, and presentation. The staff are exceptional: professional, personal, and genuinely caring, with remarkable attentiveness. Ideal for those seeking quiet luxury within easy reach of the major attractions and the Old Town.
