Rêu Boutique Hotel

Only tell the truth. Some places in Hoian are boring, commercialized and crowded. But this hotel is highly recommend for all people who come to hoian to visit and stay in this place. Breakfast is stunning, view over the paddy field with with sunrise is nice. At last, appreciate for the kind help from the Staff “Huy” who helped us !! I especially write this comment just for him

The breakfasts are delicious and the staff is pleasant, except for the man at reception, he's rude and unfriendly! The beds were covered in ants and fleas (there's construction nearby), and in the evening, karaoke music was blasting. I'd like some peace and quiet, as there's construction nearby! The rooms are old!

There are bugs or fleas in the beds, everyone is bitten, there are ants, the room is shabby! The young man at the reception is rude!

If only there were 10* 👍 From the moment we stepped out of the car, we were greeted with warm smiles from the security guard and the reception team. During our entire month‑long stay, those smiles never faded. It honestly felt like coming home every day. Everyone of the hotel staff were exceptional and I really enjoyed their enthusiastic Vietnamese lessons every day, which really helped to immerse ourselves into Vietnamese culture. The hotel has a really cool, unique design — lots of polished concrete, cave‑like curves, and even real trees growing in the bathroom and on the balcony. And the bed… wow. We’ve been travelling full‑time for over a year, and this king‑size mattress is easily the most comfortable one we’ve slept on and enjoyed the pillow menu, where we ordered every shape, size and firmness, which were all delivered with the biggest smile! The air‑con kept the whole room perfectly cool with multiple vents, and the shower was always hot and powerful. Housekeeping was amazing, with fresh towels and bottled water every day. The behind‑the‑scenes team deserves a shoutout too — the groundskeepers, the restaurant staff, and the baristas who made every tea, coffee or cocktail perfect. The food was a highlight. Breakfast was fantastic, and the vegetarian dishes from Chef Sa and the restaurant team were honestly Michelin‑level. We also loved the two nearby sister restaurants, Dau Tien and Rue Dining, where we enjoyed incredible 5‑course vegetarian meals, (though of course they also serve meat). Complimentary cycles (there are many) and an easy ride to the Old Town, or ride through the rice terraces which were so picturesque. Overall, this place made our month in Hoi An unforgettable and we definitely hope to return one day.

Best experience hotel in Hoi An

The most striking feature of Rêu is probably its unique architecture and signature rice field view. I went in January, so the rice had already been harvested, making timing important if you want a beautiful view. The architecture is truly distinctive, with many charming corners perfect for relaxing in peace and quiet. It's not too far from the city, but you have to go around the rice fields, so not everyone is familiar with the route.

This hotel has a charming, Ghibli-esque atmosphere overall, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It's a little far from the old town, but it was easy to find a taxi, and access was good. The service was excellent, and one of the staff members who spoke Japanese even spoke to me in Japanese. I would definitely like to stay here again when I come back to Hoi An!
