Club The FAGtory

Beware that they can kick u even with a presale ticket for wathever reason. Our group got kicked out from the queue, because apparently our pride attire during pride night didn't match their vibe 😅. Fourth time going there and never seen it happening. They reject u subjectively as many straight people in completely black and white street clothes were entering. Not very welcoming to english speakers either. Additionally they are not obliged to give ur money back if u get rejected, they pretended to scam us more than 100 euros. Think twice before attending, there are better choices in the city.
1. I chose the theme, but got insulted. My boyfriend came to Pride in a colorful outfit – the theme was: Show your colours. Instead of praise, the awareness team insulted him: “Clown in a clown costume.” Seriously? 2. Respect? Apparently, it only applies to some. When asked about the club rules, my boyfriend said: Respect and equality. The doorman's response: “That doesn't count.” But suddenly “No means no” is enough of an entry requirement? 3. Not kinky? No entry. It used to be “kinky OR colorful,” now it's just kinky. If you don't want to end up half-naked in party photos, you stay outside. For those who aren't into kink – it's no longer an option. 4. Safe space? Where? Photos taken in the middle of the crowd, no rules about cell phones, no consideration for others. Staff filming instead of protecting people. No covering up cell phone cameras, no protected area. 5. The wrong people at the entrance. A safe space begins at the entrance. Anyone who judges, insults, or doesn't even uphold basic values like respect has missed the point of the event.
Dear Event Team, I am writing to you to describe a deeply disappointing and discriminatory experience my girlfriend and I had last night when trying to enter your event. My girlfriend—a lesbian woman—and I—a gay man—were turned away at the door despite being dressed appropriately (she wore a low-cut outfit, I wore a sleeveless flannel shirt). The reason given was: “Dress code: Neon.” However, your website clearly states that your event prioritizes personal well-being, that everyone is welcome, and that it is about community and togetherness. But what we experienced was the exact opposite: My girlfriend was told at the entrance that she should “show more skin” to comply with the supposed dress code. I was ordered to partially undress to show what I was wearing under my shirt—an intrusive and humiliating situation. We were told we didn't look "queer enough"—even though we're both part of the community. Other guests—some clearly heavily intoxicated or under the influence of drugs—were allowed in as long as they were dressed extravagantly enough. The majority of those present didn't even seem to be part of the LGBTQ+ community. This experience—on the eve of Pride Month, no less—was shocking, disheartening, and painful. An LGBTQ+ event should be a safe space for all members of the community, regardless of gender expression or degree of "eccentricity." What we experienced was gatekeeping based on stereotypes—and this in a space that claims to be inclusive. I demand an explanation of how such discriminatory entry criteria are compatible with your own commitment to diversity, respect, and inclusion. It's unacceptable that queer people are excluded from queer events because they don't appear "explosive" or "colorful" enough. I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and implement measures to prevent future guests from having such an experience. With disappointed but hopeful regards
