Dom Café-Bar

On a hot summer day with temperatures reaching 33°C, we visited this lovely café right next to the cathedral and felt completely at ease. To start, we enjoyed a wonderfully refreshing iced chocolate and an excellent latte macchiato. Later, we relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with two glasses of Lugana and a Pinot Blanc. The drinks were superb and perfectly suited to the summer heat. We were particularly impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. Despite the heat, a carafe of fresh water was repeatedly brought to our table without us even asking – and free of charge. We hardly ever experience this kind of service in Germany anymore, and we found this gesture to be extremely thoughtful and hospitable. In fact, the service was impeccable. The team was consistently friendly, attentive, and present without being intrusive. Add to that the stylish and cozy ambiance. The direct view of Innsbruck Cathedral creates a truly special atmosphere that invites you to linger. It's a wonderful place to relax, watch the hustle and bustle of the old town, and simply enjoy the moment. ... Our conclusion: A lovely café in a prime location, with excellent service, a pleasant selection of drinks, and a level of hospitality that's hard to find these days. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Innsbruck. 🍷☕😊

After trudging through the rain for an hour, finally found this place - unsurprisingly, right by the cathedral. Also only a minute's walk from the "golden roof", but didn't seem touristy at all. Just the opposite - fairly full of what seemed to be locals. Service didn't take long, though, and was delivered in friendly style. We opted for very acceptable pasta dishes and a couple of beers.

Very pleasant and the drinks are top-notch.
