I was thoroughly disappointed with my stay here. This place stood out to be as a relatively cheaper option in an otherwise expensive city, but honestly, the price difference is a huge sacrifice to your comfort. While my stay was brief, departing early the next morning, it was an unpleasant experience what short time I had in the hotel. As stated in several reviews, dating as far back as 6 years ago, the shower leaking is STILL a persistent problem. Having paid a premium for a room with a private shower, there was little benefit as my bathroom was largely unusable. The rubber seal on the shower door was tattered, and despite having the shower door closed, the entire floor quickly became wet. I couldn't have a second shower upon departure, as I used my bath towel to soak up the water. Reception closes early at 8PM, so there is no one to ask for assistance after this time. One of the worst parts of my stay was the porous noise. When trying to sleep, there was this ominous and creepy electrical sound coming from the ceiling. Even worse, the sound from the ENTIRE corridor could be heard. There is absolutely no sound proofing. A family seemed to be returning home and congregated in the common area on my floor, and I could hear every single word, for the whole hour they were out there. Even worse, you can hear when somebody on your floor is using the toilet. I honestly couldn't wait to be leaving early.

I had the small single room but still had everything I needed and plenty enough room. Everything was clean and enough choice for breakfast. 20 minute walk to the centre of town or I received a pass for free public transport, and the bus stop is just across the road. Quiet place and friendly staff.

It's average, but the prices are very high. They don't have an elevator, and the rooms on the second floor are very uncomfortable. They also add breakfast for an extra fee, which is unfair.

There are many reviews saying the staff are friendly, but I wonder if the people have changed. When I entered the accommodation to check in, I had a bad feeling about the reception staff. I had struggled to find this place dragging my suitcase after arriving south of Salzburg by bus from Český Krumlov, and when I tried to pay by card to switch to a private room, they informed me that there would be a fee. However, another person corrected them, so I was able to pay without a fee, but I still didn't feel good about it. The place was clean and the location was decent enough, but I did not receive any of the information about Salzburg that I had seen in other reviews. The room window faced the road, and since it was a fairly large road with heavy traffic and speed, the noise was loud. The facilities were fine, but the people were so curt and unfriendly that it was a place that really spoiled my mood.

Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast (ordered as an extra) and comfortable room. The hotel was conveniently close to a bus stop with buses going down into Salzburg, and with the emailed free pass to use city buses provided by the hotel, there was no need to buy tickets. Only 10 minutes' walk to the main train station also.
