Hotel Parks Velden

We had a pleasant stay. I would particularly like to commend the very friendly and attentive staff. A bag with towels for the pool area and a bathrobe were provided in the room, which we greatly appreciated. We only missed having slippers. Breakfast was excellent. There was a wide selection, and the chef prepared fresh egg dishes and omelets to order. There was always plenty of everything, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and adequately sized, though nothing special. The bathroom lacked a towel rack, there was a bottle of water in the minibar, and the bed was comfortable. We also missed having an information folder or leaflet in the room with important information, such as breakfast times, check-out, or hotel services. Overall, a good hotel with very good service and breakfast. However, it's noticeable that the hotel is showing its age in some areas and could benefit from some renovations. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable.

The hotel is in a prime location right on the lake. The friendliness of the receptionists was particularly noteworthy. The generous breakfast left nothing to be desired. There's also a lockable bicycle storage room, which was fantastic for us. The only downside is that the hotel is showing its age in some places. However, this didn't bother us too much. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday here!

I don't know why some people write reviews that are completely incomprehensible. We've been here for three days now and there's absolutely nothing to complain about. The room, the staff, the breakfast, and the spa area – everything was top-notch.

I originally wanted to give it only 3 stars, as the rooms are quite worn, but there are two unique features: After using the sauna, you can cool off directly in Lake Wörthersee, as the spa area is located in a separate wing right on the shore. The view from the breakfast room directly overlooking Lake Wörthersee is really great 👍

Our experience is reflected in some of the reviews. Positives: -The staff was consistently friendly. -The breakfast was very plentiful and good. -The location is good, and there is ample parking. -The sauna is small but nice. Negatives: -The rooms are very noisy. You can hear everything, whether it's next door or above you. -The room was also extremely sparsely furnished. -Some things are quite old and seem to be neglected. -Cleanliness Upon arrival, the bathroom wasn't properly clean. We pointed this out, and they took care of it immediately. However, the shower was neglected again, and we had to clean it ourselves. There were also dead small animals and spiders behind the curtains on the ceiling. The biggest drawback is definitely the room itself. It's impossible to have any peace and quiet as soon as someone is in an adjacent room, and it's very sparsely furnished. It felt more like a holiday camp. The breakfast was really excellent, and the staff was always friendly.

Very nice, spacey, a bit “oldish” but cheap. There’s a hotel beach and very good restaurant on the beach.

I stayed here for a quick one day business trip during off season. The true advantage of this hotel is the location. The spa and wellness area is directly on the lake so you can do the sauna and take a quick swim. To the left of the hotel are several restaurants and bars within walking distance so that was cool as well. For the building itself, you can tell that several sections need renovating but the main common areas are done tastefully and are modern. Overall, if you aren’t picky about how the room looks this is definitely a good value for the location!

A very nice hotel with excellent service and a great restaurant for the booked half-board option. The hotel's private lake access is particularly lovely.
