Antwerp Pride es el mayor evento del orgullo LGBTQ+ del mundo neerlandófono, con más de 100.000 personas en la segunda ciudad belga cada agosto. El desfile serpentea por el espectacular centro de Amberes —la Catedral de Nuestra Señora, el Grote Markt y el histórico distrito portuario— creando uno de los orgullos visualmente más impactantes de Europa en una de las ciudades más bellas del continente. El fin de semana del orgullo incluye un Pride Village al aire libre con espectáculos en vivo, fiestas en los bares y clubes gay y el Antwerp Queer Arts Festival, que ofrece exposiciones y eventos culturales en paralelo. El centro compacto y peatonal de Amberes lo hace especialmente adecuado para la cultura al aire libre del evento. El estatus de Bélgica como segundo país del mundo en aprobar el matrimonio igualitario (2003) aporta resonancia particular.
