Amyth of Nicosia

Loved this small hotel in old house in historic Nicosia. Great restaurant and very helpful lovely staff who went out of their way to make my stay great.

My parents, my wife and I, and several friends stayed here during our wedding weekend in Nicosia. The hotel is stunning, the staff were incredibly flexible and supportive, and the food was fantastic. It sits in an accessible part of old Nicosia and parking was not an issue. Would definitely recommend staying or simply dining here.

Amyth Nicosia is the definition of a gem. Nestled within a traditional house restored with great care and attention to detail, it offers guests a beautiful spot of respite after having spent the day exploring the city. The rooms are spacious and luminous, beautifully furnished and lacking nothing in amenities. We didn’t even need to turn on the AC as the large windows allowed for a wonderful draft to keep us fresh without any noise as the area where the hotel is located isn’t too busy (but still very central, we did everything on foot). Perhaps though the highlight was the beautiful interior courtyard that hosts the hotel restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The space itself is beautiful, with a fountain and trees and plants that soften the feel of being inside a city. And as for the food, it was simply incredible. We had all three meals there and each one was better than the last. Breakfast is à la carte and the options are varied and hearty. The lunch and dinner menu are different which means that you can eat at the same restaurant and have totally different experiences (especially at night where they light up the courtyard which makes it feel very cosy and welcoming). Dinner is truly a gourmet experience and it is even more special thanks to the wonderful staff who were so welcoming and genuine but also absolute professionals. All in all if you are planning to visit Nicosia, I wholeheartedly recommend staying there as it really feels like a home away from home with a luxury twist !

We had the great pleasure of spending a few days over Christmas last year at the Amyth hotel. We loved the location in old-town Nicosia, the elegant, well-appointed rooms and the superb in-house restaurant. The service was impeccable. A special mention for Alexandra, Jonathan and Poliana, who routinely went above and beyond in their service to make our stay memorable.

Love this hotel. Would stay again. Clean rooms, great people and service. The restaurant is top rate. Breakfast is really good with a depth of selection. The location is quiet but easy to walk to the tourist spots.
