Club Hotel Praha

Hotel in a fairly good location near the center (20 minutes walk). Terrible breakfast... we would have preferred to have it in the center. Decent rooms with en-suite showers. Dishonest because we paid a deposit for the key, and they never refunded it! And it never arrived on our credit card, as the guy at the check-in desk told us on the last day. Report it to Expedia!!!!!

Absolutely abysmal. Starting with the fact that the whole place smelled like a full ashtray because people were smoking in the hallway (opening the windows at night is impossible because the police are racing down the street with flashing lights and sirens every minute), and continuing with the fact that the rooms are completely run-down. The floor was apparently laid by the owners themselves many years ago with click-laminate flooring that's now falling apart. On the plus side, there's a ridiculously oversized shower right in the room. To compensate, the communal toilet is in the hallway, and its amenities consist of a somewhat clean toilet and a very dirty-looking mini-sink with a loose faucet and a roll of toilet paper (the kind you'd find in a restaurant) lying on the trash can. No hand soap or paper towels – just a small cloth towel for communal use. If you book a parking space and actually manage to maneuver your car undamaged through the very narrow entrance – which, by the way, is only possible with folded-in mirrors and a guide – you'll be informed the next day that you have to pay the equivalent of €20 for each additional day. This business tactic continues with the breakfast included in the booking price, where you're told at the coffee machine that only the first cup of coffee is included and each additional cup costs the equivalent of €2. We've stayed in many hotels, some of which were showing their age, but this one beats them all by a mile. Bottom line – never again. And one more well-meant tip: be sure to read all the reviews thoroughly beforehand.

This is the absolute WORST “hotel” I have ever stayed at. The rooms smell of smoke, we almost fell through the bed, and there is a nightclub below that goes until 5am. The bass is so loud it shakes the whole room. We paid for three nights and only stayed one and left as FAST as possible. Hotel Cesar is 10 min walk away for the same price and it is beautiful, clean, private, and feels safe. Do not make the mistake we did, read the reviews and DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Terrible accommodation, communication with staff 0 points, everywhere dirt, smell, noise from discos at night, food disaster. Money not returned after cancellation, they don't answer the phone, they don't respond to emails. Never again from far away.

My worst experience in Prague is connected to this "hotel". I was greeted by a rude receptionist during the day, and a strange one in the evening. They speak to you in an unqualified style, they don't even know the most basic words in English. They don't even let women in alone. The place is like a semi-illegal hideout, full of dubious characters.

The advantage of this accommodation is its location in the center of Prague and the helpful behavior of one of the receptionists. Miniature double rooms, shower in the room... Toilets in the hallway. Despite the smoking ban placed in all hallways, the entire accommodation is soaked with cigarette smoke. Sleeping in the room only after thorough ventilation. You can clearly hear what the guests in the next room are talking about through the wall of the room. Good experience!

Miska's video was good, the hotel probably isn't that good, even though Miska gave it 3/5 stars

The hotel entrance is always locked. You can't enter unless someone is there. The bathroom door won't close once you enter. There's no light in the shower room. The dining room is dark. Even when you enter your room, you can't lock it unless you insert your key.

We were greeted by a very unfriendly employee who shuffled along with bright red eyes and could barely get a word out. And when he did, he sounded quite annoyed. He was probably high. I ended up paying a price on-site that was the equivalent of €45 higher than the price listed on Booking.com. The rooms are a disaster—the shower was right in the room with a carpet in front of it. I didn't want to take my shoes off there. It was noisy at night because the police regularly drove by with sirens blaring. At night, you had to wake an employee, who then eventually opened the door. At least some of the other employees were at least somewhat normal, and one was even a little friendly. Breakfast was okay, even though only one drink was included. In the future, I would recommend reading the reviews here and avoiding hotels like this.
