Scandic Falkoner

This hotel caters to business travelers and tourists staying in the city for a few nights. Its greatest asset is its location – you can quickly reach virtually any destination in Copenhagen. The service is very friendly, but the online cleaning service isn't very efficient. Despite placing a request, someone only emptied the trash cans. Reception was necessary.

Large hotel, modern and spacious. It also offers facilities for conferences. The staff is professional, helpful, and very friendly. The subway connection is absolutely fantastic; you can reach almost any part of the city in no time. Therefore, it's also ideal for a long weekend. It's advisable to buy a day ticket for the duration of your stay so you can travel around the city completely independently. The fantastic public transport system makes a car entirely unnecessary. We were out and about a lot and still didn't take the car out of the garage once.

We stayed at the hotel for three days and even considered leaving early. The air conditioning didn't work, and there were three of us in the room. The windows couldn't be opened, so there was hardly any air in the room; it was really awful and extremely stuffy. We complained at reception several times and initially only received a fan, one of which was also broken. The TV in the room also didn't work. So, back down to reception, more complaints, and we finally got a new TV and another fan, which, however, hardly helped. An employee suggested we could change rooms the next day. When we arrived at reception the following morning, the employee suddenly said the hotel was fully booked. The communication between staff members seemed very chaotic and disorganized. I would have appreciated at least some small compensation. We've had broken or missing items in rooms at other hotels, but there, they at least offered us an à la carte meal or breakfast. Here, unfortunately, there was nothing at all—just a stuffy room with hardly any oxygen.

The sound is simply not up to par. It all becomes a bit muddy and imprecise, and it drags down quite a bit, especially for concerts where you expect clear and balanced sound. Hearing changes with age. Already from your 30s you gradually start to lose the ability to hear high frequencies. In practice, this means that you no longer perceive the entire sound spectrum in the same way. Therefore, higher demands should be placed on how the sound is made. It's not about experience versus youth, but about ensuring that those responsible for the sound can actually hear the whole picture, either via younger ears or by supplementing with measurements and calibration. Right now it doesn't quite seem like that's the case. I love concerts and am happy to take the bad sound with me. But I'm always disappointed in the Falkoner hall.

Really nice hotel close to the metro i Fredriksberg, second stay and it's always good. Only thing this time , a small incident when the reception forgot to book housekeeping.

I had a fantastic stay at Scandic Falkoner in Copenhagen. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and perfectly located, with stylish rooms, excellent services, and a wonderful atmosphere throughout the entire property. The comfort of the rooms, the quality of the breakfast, and the overall attention to guests really made the experience special. What made my stay truly unforgettable, however, was the extraordinary kindness and availability of the Congress and Event Manager. As a fan of one of the pianists who performed in the historic Concert Hall, I simply asked if it would be possible to see the venue — and she generously offered me a complete private tour of the hall. Her passion, professionalism and genuine hospitality turned a simple curiosity into a memorable and emotional experience for me. The Concert Hall itself is stunning and full of history and being able to visit it thanks to M.’s kindness was something I will never forget. I highly recommend this hotel not only for its fantastic facilities and beautiful rooms, but especially for the people who make guests feel truly welcome. Thank you again to M. and to the whole Scandic Falkoner team for such a wonderful stay.

TOP rooms and services The hotel is 50 meters from the metro. So, an excellent location for exploring the city!
