CeGIDD – Hôpital Civil Strasbourg

The opening hours are a bit of a joke, to say the least. It's simple: they're variable, and on Mondays they stop at 11:55 AM. There's nothing in the afternoon... In the meantime, I went into town, to the parking lot... Just because it's free (for patients) doesn't mean they can treat patients like they're secondary.

Completely free service! Thank you to the staff, everything was great.

I arrived at 4 PM, waited for over an hour, I was last in line, no one behind me. They told me the testing had just closed earlier than expected and that the previous person was the last one. 😃😃😃

I arrived at 11:50 AM, just to get my results, for a 12:00 PM appointment, and was turned away. I suppose that's understandable if they're busy. However, the receptionist was incredibly rude. You could barely hear her through the glass, and she didn't even bother to speak louder. She completely ignored us afterward, without offering us an appointment, for example. The doctor himself, however, was excellent. In the end, it was an hour's journey only to be treated with such disrespect. Very disappointing.

Excellent welcome and care, the staff are attentive and very friendly even though they are understaffed and also with all the people in their care.

Secretaries and doctors with absolutely no understanding of risk assessment, waited from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and because I was smoking downstairs when it was my turn, they sent me home. They couldn't judge the urgency of the situation, and I won't even mention the secretary who was practically hysterical. A bunch of incompetents who think they're the cast of Grey's Anatomy.

Free consultations without appointment, but you're not guaranteed to be seen. Arriving at 11:15, when reception hours end at 11:30, regardless of the route you took to get there, I was politely invited to come back two days later, while being told that depending on the time, it wasn't certain I'd be seen.

Seriously, the negative comments are outrageous! Yes, you have to wait a little while, but remember: it's a FREE service, and for once, you're not the product. Also, yes, you have to go there in person to get the results, but hey, considering how much the tests cost the national health insurance, we can certainly save them a stamp. Finally, the staff is professional and caring from reception to the blood test, including the consultation. It's the only place on earth where you can admit to having had a threesome with octopuses and no one will judge you (not a true story). Thank you to the entire CEGIDD team for their efficiency and kindness!

The reception was very cold and unfriendly; they determined what you had between your legs without asking any questions. Plus, you had to find the results yourself on site. The one star goes to the doctors, who were very kind and attentive.

Don't be even 5 minutes late or they'll cancel your appointment! It's shameful, especially since there's always a wait in the waiting room, even with an appointment!

The staff and doctors were incredibly friendly. They made me feel comfortable and the appointment times were respected. I did have a short wait, but that's normal in this type of system. Thank you!
