B&B HOTEL Duisburg Hbf-Süd

Since the hotel was booked by a partner company, we couldn't choose our booking. My colleague discovered that the blankets hadn't been changed when she went to bed that night. It was a twin-bed room; one blanket smelled of perfume, and the other smelled of smelly feet. Also, when I asked the front desk if I didn't need the room cleaned, the receptionist said that the room would only be cleaned if I scanned the QR code on the front desk sign. So, on the second day of my stay, I didn't tell the front desk not to clean the room when I left, but the room was still cleaned.

The place is a bit dated; the bed linen and the room smell accordingly. Breakfast offered limited selection, but was adequate.

The B&B is also near the train station, but it's clean and adequate. There are some signs of wear and tear, but it's acceptable, clean, and the staff is friendly. You're greeted warmly, the rooms are pleasant, and the bathroom is clean. I'd gladly stay again.

We traveled with a small dog and were welcome. The dog costs €12 per night, but there are no additional services provided. The rooms are small but clean; the bed was very hard, but that's a matter of personal preference. We didn't book breakfast. Parking behind the building costs €10 per night. The rooms have carpeted floors, which I find outdated.

The blonde receptionist is rude and racist,i had the medical approbation exam as a romanian doctor,i was supposed to be done before checkout time and i couldnt be back before checkout due to exam delay, when i came to hotel i asked her if im supposed to pay and how much and told her ok ill be back, only to see that she had locked me out of my room and started arguing with me about me not paying, she threatened with calling the cops even though im willingly paying and staying the night.
