Having a smoking bar in 2026 is just diabolical, what is wrong with Germany?

Had to face xenophobia and also all my clothes are now smelling smoke's cigarrete. Awful experience for an international city, mainly in a bar that should be representing inclusion and belonging. Definitely, never coming back. Ever.

What a great encounter this was..great cocktails….I tried a few but the hero was the Monkey Gin. A welcoming atmosphere from the beginning and fantastic staff at the bar …as I was alone they engaged and had an amazing chat. Don’t miss it when in Frankfurt

It's a nice place, with music and friendly people. The downside? They smoke inside!

A favorite Frankfurt standby for decades. Mixed crowd of interesting people, excellent beers and cocktails. Fair prices. A few smokers but welll ventilated. A classic.

I know the Central Set, where it used to be the Pink Elephant. The ambiance hasn't changed. It's still the biggest refrigerator in Frankfurt. This isn't due to the staff, but rather the clientele. The price-performance ratio is still okay. However, the change of ownership is noticeable. The restrooms desperately need an update. Don't notice that everything that comes from Berlin is well-received in Frankfurt. It doesn't impress tourists if everything looks like Berlin. If you're going to charge hotel prices, the cocktails should also be of hotel quality. Olives from Metro? No. The portion size is critical. It's like, "We'll milk the cow until it drops." This is detrimental to the reputation. As a non-smoker, I find it incredibly old-school that smoking is allowed here.

To cramped and couldn't even get a drink

Very nice little bar with a fairly large range of drinks on offer! Staff are super friendly! Out of all the bars we visited this one was our favourite!

Prices are quite good, the volume is okay for conversation, and the audience is a mixed age group.

Go if you wanna lose a lung and get the shadiest looks in Frankfurt.
