Rastplatz Am Stern is a rest area on the A115 autobahn between Potsdam-Babelsberg and the Berlin city line, backed by the pine woods of the Parforceheide. It is not a sauna, as older listings claimed, but an outdoor cruising spot that German cruising guides have covered for years. Men meet around the parking area and on the paths into the forest, by day and after dark.
Because this is a working motorway stop, truckers and ordinary travellers pass through constantly. Be discreet, watch for traffic in the car park, and take basic precautions at night in an isolated wooded area: tell someone where you are and keep valuables in the car.
